To equalize the minimum adjustments to prices for fluid milk under milk marketing orders, to establish a solids content of beverage milk, and to provide for a manufacturing allowance for milk under the milk price support program.

To amend the Agricultural Act of 1949 to make American Samoa eligible for emergency livestock feed assistance.

To require the Secretary of Agriculture to submit a report on, and establish a system for, lamb price and supply reporting services in the Department of Agriculture.

To provide disaster assistance for agricultural producers who suffer losses to 1991 crops as a result of damaging weather or other related condition.

To amend the Agricultural Act of 1949 to limit the milk price support program to the 48 contiguous States in the continental United States.

To clarify the status of certain refunds under the Agricultural Act of 1949.

To amend the Import Milk Act to require that dairy products offered for importation into the United States meet the same standards applied to dairy products produced in the United States.

To increase the minimum basic formula price for Class I milk, to provide payments to producers of milk that is not used for fluid milk products, and to establish the solid content of packaged fluid milk products.

To amend the Agricultural Act of 1949 to modify the operation of the price support program applicable to milk.

To amend the Federal Meat Inspection Act to authorize the distribution of wholesome meat for human consumption that has been condemned under that Act to charity and public agencies.

To authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to issue a nationwide marketing order applicable to milk and milk products, and for other purposes.

To amend the Agricultural Act of 1949 to remove the authority to reduce the level of price support for milk for calendar year 1990.

To amend the Poultry Products Inspection Act to reestablish minimum inspection and processing standards.

To direct the Office of Technology Assessment to conduct a study of the effects of the reclassification of anhydrous ammonia as a poisonous gas, to limit the authority of the Secretary of Transportation to take any action regarding such reclassification until after completion of such study, and for other purposes.

Egg Research and Consumer Information Act Amendments of 1988

A bill to amend the Food and Security Act of 1985 to authorize and direct the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a strategic forage reserve comprised of multiyear set-aside acreage.

A bill to fund drought relief and related programs by transferring to the Secretary of Agriculture amounts made available from reduced costs of storing agricultural commodities due to distribution by the Commodity Credit Corporation of such commodities through a voucher program of aid to farmers affected by drought.
